Beauty of the Argument

I never really enjoy writing a papper, but during this paper I enjoyed reading the articles online and the arguments that people have on why guns should not be taken away. Also i enjoyed reading people who are for gun control because they think it would make the U.S. a safer place but statistics show that owning a gun prevents criminals from attacking more. What i did not like when writing this paper was citing the sources and also writing a paper thats 6 pages long.

Arguments

What I want to know is what kind of sources give the best infromation and are the most reliable source. Should I be looking in a book, on the internet, in encyclopedia's, newspapper articles, or state information and arguments in the government. Which source can I rely on most to get me correct information.

Audience

My argument is why there should not be gun control. My audience are the animal activists that think guns should be taken away so we don't kill animals. I am a 18 year old from South Dakota. South Dakota revolves around hunting. Just this weekend my family, friends, and people from out of state, walked field after filed with guns. together we killed over 100 pheasents. Guns should not be controlled. First of all its our right to bear arms and secondly we use our guns for a recreational purpose. Without hunting, many animals would become overpopulated. If we couldn't hunt deer, there would be more traffic accidents. If we couldn't hunt pheasents the population would grow, causing more crops to be eaten, causing less money for farmers and possibly a food shortage if it gets to out of hand. Yes guns can be used for bad things like murder, but if you take guns away those people will still find a way to get a gun anyway. Through my eyes guns are not a bad thing so it should not be taken from us.

Last Argument

Last argument I was involved with was over a game. We were playing bean bags and I guess someone called a game in the future and left. I not knowing this, said I was also going to play this game. So I sat and watched two games and it was my turn to play the winner of this game. The kid who called for this game earlier comes in from the other room and thinks he is up. I went up to him and told him I was waiting for fifteen minutes, watching for this game. He was all mad and responded with but I called it before you. We resolved the situation with a little game of Rock,Paper,Scissors, to come to a conclusion.

Bandwagon Fallacy

I notice the Bandwagon Fallacy the most especially around sports. If a team Emerges out of no where and is good, Fans say that they like that team. Around School a new kid could come to class and someone hangs out with him and says there cool, everyone wants to hang out with the new kid.

Essay Experience

Writing this paper was a great reminder of all the memories that were made while i was playing soccer. The best part of this writing was looking back to the championship game of my sophomore year. It was a wild game tied at two and we lost in the final minutes of the second overtime. The worst part of writing this essay is that I no longer participate on a soccer team. This story is a final story that can not be added to through college.

Culture Clash

At the age of 5, I moved to Mitchell. I was in Kindergarden at the time and didn't know anybody in the school. My teacher introduced me to the class and I made a bunch of new friends. This also was the first time that I remember meeting somebody of a different culture. The kids name was Kyle, his family adopted him from Korea. It was so wierd, seeing he had different skin color, and his face had squinty eyes, but I didn't know any difference. To me he was a new friends at my school who I played with at recess and went to his house to play.
